Did you know that masoso porridge is very popular? In Nyarugusu at the end of the month, the refugees receive a certain quantity of this flour from the WFP.

I remember well my friend explained to me that after receiving this flour they keep it jealously and consume it little by little, the problem is that if these children find it they want to mix it with cold water to consume it. and some go with this masoso to school and to the river.

I have had the opportunity to find children who take it to mix it with water and consume it away from their parents as in the street or elsewhere. One of those kids said that masoso tastes more than cookies, and that's why they're impatient.
