Schools were closed last month following the Covid-19 pandemic. To combat the spread of the virus, all schools in Tanzania have been closed, including primary and secondary schools in Nyarugusu camps.
Note that in early June was open to all higher and university institutes throughout the country except primary, secondary and humanitarian schools. We can add that in Nyarugusu there are no higher and university institutes and that is why the schools are closed until further government orders.
