Biambese (name in kibembe language) means fresh fish. All Tanzanian traders exported fresh fish from Lake Tanganyika for sale in the villages of Nyarugusu. The sellers pass in each avenue to announce these fish by signaling to the buyers the cry "biambese, biambese, biambese".
These prices of fish are not stable. From morning to noon the price is very high, but from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. the price becomes small because fish starts to rot. Note that in the refugee camp, there is no fridge or freezer.
