During early morning I met this girl with a package of clothes. I noticed that she came to do the laundry. Looking at the physical appearance of the girl, I asked her the questions to understand the phenomenon.
The girl replied that her mother takes care of other things and that is why she decided to wash these clothes and those of her brothers. She added that this was not the first time she cleaners or detergents for his brothers.
In Nyarugusu, children learn and do housework from an early age. At the age of 12, we consider a child to be a person who is able to do everything, such as doing housework or helping with a small trade.
