This field is located outside the Nyarugusu camp. The refugee farmers cultivate the field in collaboration with the Tanzanians whose live in surroundings. Note that at the camp there are large fields in the space of the Nyarugusu river.
The woman in the photo working in the field outside Nyarugusu said: "Of course I come from a field outside the camp, this is where I had room to allocate for cultivation. The entire places in the camp has already been occupied, which is why we are collaborating with the Tanzanian cultivators of Iroshingo and Nyarugusu Kijijini."
The refugee farmers provide vegetables and other food in the camp, it is not coincidence that there is the faculty of agronomy in Nyarugusu, the graduated agronomists participate in the agricultural sector.
