At the end of April and the beginning of May in Nyarugusu, it is the period during which the refugees repair their house with dry grasses to catch rainwater penetrations and it is the period that these grasses put their thumbs up in the bush.
At the end of May and the beginning of June, they start making adobe bricks for new houses, these are the months of construction in Nyarugusu until the end of October. Refugees benefit from construction during the dry period.
These little boys in the photo tell me about his bundle of herbs: "Because we don't study these days and I take this opportunity to go into the bush to cut this grass, because we will use it as a sheets in June, all day I go to the bush even tomorrow I'll be there."
