Of course, tap water is everywhere in Nyarugusu and is available from 7:00 to 9:00 from 12:00 to 14:00 and from 16:00 until 18:00. But is it a drinkable water? When it is possible to drink this water, why do some refugees move to several distanced places looking for underground water claiming that this is the only drinkable water for them while others prefer tap water?

In French it is said that "We are not arguing about the taste and the color".

Of course, because everyone has its own favourite taste and color, but drinking water is colorless, odorless and tasteless. Therefore, everyone should be of the same opinion, which water is drinkable or not. We have noticed, that there are two kinds of water of different tastes and colors. Are all these types of water OK and drinkable?

All water is disinfect cleaned with disinfectant in order to kill the microbes that live in the water. Do those who are helping in the refugee camps drink this water? One refugee testified us: “I have never seen a worker drinking pump or tap water. They have always bottled water in hands”.
